Maura Jasper is a conceptual and multi media artist whose work investigates how pop cultures and histories shape and inform identity. Her work has been exhibited and screened widely in the United States and internationally, at venues such as Artist’s Space and Threadwaxing Space in New York, the Institute for Contemporary Art in Boston, the Center for Contemporary Images in Geneva. She is a 1998 NYFA Video Fellow, and more recently an artist residence at Boston’s Berwick Research Institute. She has an M.F.A. in Interrelated Media from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, and she is currently an Assistant Professor of Electronic Media at Ball State University.
