Victoria Bradbury's multimedia videos and installations are the imposition of voice through electronic puppetry. Hybridizing antiquated forms and new devices, she projects-- weaving electronic signals and fibrous materials to create temporary abodes. Bradbury has screened and exhibited her work at the Albright Knox and Hallwalls Galleries in Buffalo New York, Artist Television Access in San Francisco, the Loop Festival in Barcelona, and at the China International Fiber Arts Biennial in Beijing. She has designed sets for The Juilliard School and commedia dell'arte clowns, including Under the Table Theatre, as part of the New York Clown Festival, and in the Filuren Festugen in Aarhus, Denmark. Bradbury collaborates with New York based dancer Miriam Wolf to process and manipulate live video planes in virtual space for live performance. Bradbury was a 2008 artist in Residence at Imagine Gallery, Beijing. She was the 2009 SUNY Fellowship for the Arts Film and Video Finalist, and was the Best in
Show Winner of the 2009 Southern Tier Biennial. She holds an MFA in Electronic Arts from Alfred University and a BFA from The Maryland Institute College of Art. She is currently Assistant Professor of Electronic Art at Ball State University.
